The Beauty Base is owned & operated by Ballarat local Carlee Thornton, a qualified Beauty Therapist & Makeup Artist with around 20 years experience in the industry.

The first 10yrs as a therapist I worked in prestigious spas and salons from ski resorts to islands throughout

Australia and Canada.

I have had my own little salon since 2016, which I absolutely love! My favourite treatments to perform are anything eyebrows and makeup.
I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge throughout this journey and I am excited to bring to you only the best services & products you deserve."

Carlee also owns Base Collection, making Soy Candles & Wax melts, which are sold in salon.
